It looks like I had A LOT of art recs, so fics will have to go to another post. :)
But seriously, I've liked pretty much everything I've seen and it was really hard to choose what to rec. In the end, I think I picked the pieces I loved most and it's possible I managed to miss some.

Hugs: Big hugs to everyone who sent snowflake cookies! And to ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) sillypowers and gblvr for the non-snowflake gifties! You guys rock!
Cards: I'm enjoying all the holiday cards coming in! I don't put up a tree so having festive (and sometimes porny) cards around really brightens the holidays! All my fannish ones went out last week—will post the artwork by the lovely veridian_dair after the holidays!
Actual Fannish Content: The folks over at ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) severus_sighs did artist and author interviews last month and you can find mine, over here!
Fests: I haven't had a chance to read many, er...*checks* Er, actually nope, none, no fics...Any Snarry Holidays recs?

Oh, wow, there has been so much fantastic art this season. \O/ But I just had to make a quick rec for vimessy's art series beginning here. She is drawing a serial comic based on Telanu's Your Horoscope for Today. She has already completed parts 1 - 4. You should check it out if you have a moment. And you may want to re-read Telanu's classic fic because it is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. And who couldn't do with a few more of those? ;D

Anyone else noticed that fests this year seem to have turned into rarepair fests? Or so it feels like. I'm watching 6, I think, 5 of which aren't pairing specific and only one is. And I keep seeing one intriguing pairing after another. Many more rare-ish than popular pairings anyway. I suppose that's because there are fests focusing on the most popular pairings, and so participants in other fests go for rarer couples?
In any case, being the pairings whore that I am, this pleases me a lot! And makes me sad as well because so far I want to read, or at least check out, maybe half of what I see and I've had time to read nearly nothing in the last week. *pouts* And no, this is NOT me bitching about feeling burnt out already. I haven't had the chance to burn myself out. But after a couple of days things will hopefully be more relaxed, so... *looks forward to all shiny-looking fics* *crosses fingers nothing else will have distracted me by then*
I have some recs, too, just haven't had the time to write a recs post yet!

I have just two - count em, TWO - more batches of caramel corn and DOBBY IS FREE!!!!!! True, nothing is baked for my own family but I never want to see another cookie again. So it's all good. ;D The marathon cookie baking is used as client gifts and the list grows each year. If anyone other than Al volunteered me for so much non-Snarry related work, I would have poisoned their tea by this point. I should have had everything out by the 6th, but instead it all has to be out by tomorrow. There's too much to do otherwise and I have been baking/icing/dipping 16 hours a day for the past eight days. I'm goofing off resting now and will finish up tonight. Then I can start buying gifts. *sigh*
And speaking of gifts - OMG, so much pretty art has come my way in the past week. There is seekrit art for the Snarry-a-Thon banner which I'm dying to show everyone now *swoons* as well as a few more Snarry pieces that should be appearing by their various creators soon. Until then, perselus drew me another Merlin piece that I can share now. It is mild, but still NWS. If you like it - and how could you not? - and you want something of your own, perselus is currently taking commissions for both original and fan art.
